Climate Change and Energy
Plasmor Ltd continually seeks to reduce energy use and our impact on climate change. We actively explore the use of alternative and renewable sources of energy and the potential for reduction of fossil fuel usage and subsequent associated greenhouse gas emissions. Materials used within production are used efficiently and in a sustainable manner. Where practicable to do so, we will reduce the use of mains, (potable), water by use of other sources, such as water recovery and rainwater harvesting.

At Plasmor Ltd, all aspects of our product development, manufacturing and distribution processes, as well as our continuing investment in technical innovation, are intrinsically committed to the social, economic and environmental elements of sustainability and supporting developers in being compliant with Building Regulations and the Future
Homes Standard.

Reducing the adverse impacts from our transport operations is achieved through ongoing modernisation of our fleet of vehicles to meet the latest emission standards, continued utilisation of transport by rail, strategic planning of delivery by road to minimise travel distances and number of lorry movements.

Waste
As a business we seek to prevent waste, whether it be resources used or waste generated by our manufacturing and maintenance operations. Where possible we will recycle waste within our operations, such as reject product that can be crushed and reinserted into the aggregate streams, and will use appropriate materials created as a bi-product
from other industrial processes. Plasmor Ltd continually seeks to reduce packaging on our products presented to the market, with packaging used being recyclable or biodegradable.

We control waste generated by our operations by maintaining clear and identifiable waste streams, along with well managed waste recycling and disposal, thus reducing waste to landfill in favour of waste recycled for material recovery or waste processed to create renewable energy
